The crisis committee guide.
Crisis committees are fast paced committees in a MUN, dedicated to resolving new and pressing issues introduced during the committee proceedings. Delegates of such a committee have to be quick in responding to the crisis, forming strategies and alliances on the spot to tackle the arising issue. Typically, the one crisis ends with the formation of a resolution, shortly before a new crisis takes its place. However, there are times when the crisis remains unresolved.
Crisis committees usually involve developments in an ongoing conflict, which the delegates have to comprehend and address in search of a solution. Some useful tips in such situations include:
Crisis committees can be challenging especially for new delegates however, concrete preceding research is instrumental in confidently combatting the situation.
