The Night Crisis Guide.
Night Crisis is one of the most prestigious events in the Model United Nations, conducted for each committee’s best-performing delegates. Held at the end of day 1, the Night Crisis is an additional hurdle for the chosen few to cross in order to achieve ‘Best Delegate’. The Agenda for the Night Crisis will be provided during the committee proceedings itself, as the committee will be a challenging test for your quick thinking abilities and decision-making skills.
To be invited into the Night Crisis, you will have to be an active member of your MUN committee sessions and stand out to the Executive Board. The delegates for the Night Crisis will be chosen based on their confidence, performance, and quality of work.
As the Night Crisis will be held after an exhausting day of committee, it will test how well you can contribute to the debate under pressure and fatigue. Performing well in a Night Crisis will not only test your debating and creative thinking skills, but will also give you a chance to show the Secretariat that you are well deserving of the title of ‘Best Delegate’.
Here are some tips to help you in Night Crisis committees:
Lastly, enjoy the experience at the DBIS Night Crisis, and give it your best shot in order to hone your skills and on the way even win ‘Best Delegate’
